Making marks on metal has been a fascination of mine for years so I was naturally drawn to printing from an etched or fabricated plate. I finally got around to my first class in the autumn winter of 2013.

The prints shown here are the results of my experimentation in various methods: printing from a copper plate fabricated from scrap with no acid being used (Fabrication, Positive-Negative), photo etching and soft ground (Somerset Levels), hard ground (Etching 12-13).
